line WT-150 & DW-150 |

Provide D-Wipe® Towels (#WT-150 or
WT-040) for quick clean up of hands without water. Ideal near the
firing line and at all outdoor ranges. Convenient locking wall bracket
(#DW-150L) will keep towels in place and available.
Provide D-Lead® Deluxe Soap (#4224ES)
in the wash rooms to decontaminate hands, forearms and face before
leaving the firing range.
Test surfaces in public areas as well as hands frequently with
the D-Lead® Lead Test Kit (#KT-002)
to identify where lead is present. This simple, safe test will also
verify when shooter’s hands are lead free.
D-Step™
Floor Mats should be located at each entrance and exit
from the firing line to clean lead dust off the shoes. A mat
should also be placed between the public side and the bullet
stop or target area to help maintain public areas lead free.
Clean D-Step™
Floor Mats daily with D-Lead®
All Purpose Cleaner (#3102ES, diluted 10:1 with water).

- Vacuum with HEPA vacuum cleaner. See chart for replacement
HEPA VAC filters.
- Clean walls, ceilings and firing line shooting stands with
D-Lead® All Purpose Cleaner
(#3102ES, diluted 5:1 with water). Water that drips on
floor can be picked up in the next step.

a small area at a time (no more than 10’ x 10’) and
vacuum up liquid with a wet vac. Alternately, the floor can be
scrubbed with a push broom, then the liquid vacuumed.
- The area three (3) feet in front of the firing line and the
area three (3) feet in front of the bullet trap typically have
particularly heavy lead deposits. These areas may need a second
cleaning.
- Dispose of waste liquid in accordance with all local, state
and federal regulations. These liquids may also be evaporated.
- Dispose of spent range lead by recycling as scrap metal.
- Test surfaces with D-Lead® Lead Test
Kit (KT-002) to identify areas where lead remains, and further
cleaning will be required before collecting clearance samples.
- Collect wipe samples for analysis if required.
