Faster Removal - Surveys of industrial wash rooms indicate most workers invest less than 60 seconds washing before breaks. The use of conventional industrial soaps often results in contamination being left on the skin. They typically require several minutes of continuous washing to remove powdered metals from the hands. D-Lead® skin care products provide the most reliable way to remove heavy metals from the skin and under fingernails. The effects of personal hygiene on blood lead levels was examined by ETI at a lead processing facility.* A strong correlation was demonstrated between the lead levels in a person's blood and the lead present on their hands. Workers in the study group who had high levels of skin contamination also had the highest blood lead levels. Workers who kept their hands and fingernails clean by regular use of D-Lead® products maintained lower blood lead levels.

Superior Performance in Waste Water Treatment
Every plant depends on the reliability of their waste water treatment to meet discharge limits. Improper selection of cleaning products can result in system upsets, leading to waste water system failure. These failures can be due to interference with the flocculation, settling or filtration steps. Even excess suds can shut down the treatment system or waste water evaporator. D-Lead® cleaning products were designed by ETI to minimize the occurance of these difficulties.
All D-Lead® cleaners are manufactured without EDTA, chelates, stearates, citrates, acetates or tartrates. This results in cleaning products with maximum cleaning power and minimum metal solubility. All ETI cleaning products are low sudsing. All skin care products are phosphate free. Surface cleaning and laundry products are available with or without phosphates.
